The Lambeth Call on Inter Faith was issued by the bishops at the Lambeth Conference meeting in Canterbury in 2022. It invites all of us in the church to respond in prayerful and practical ways.
It reminds us to work for the common good with those of other religious traditions and beliefs; to undertake neighbourly peace-making across religious communities; to show solidarity with our Christian sisters and brothers in contexts where they face persecution. It specifically and powerfully calls on all of us who are disciples of Christ to witness to our faith with neighbours of other religious traditions, by our words and deeds and through humble service.
