Phase 3 - taking the lambeth calls forward and involving the communion

Christian Unity

The Lambeth Call on Christian Unity was shared by bishops at the Lambeth Conference in 2022.

The Lambeth Call on Christian Unity calls the Church to strengthen our common life and witness. Across the diverse expressions of Anglicanism, and with brothers and sisters of other denominations and Christian traditions, prioritising Christian Unity builds God’s Church and shares the hope of the gospel.

The disunity of the Church is a continuing and damaging wound in the body of Christ. Such division weakens the Church’s witness to the gospel of reconciliation at a time when, in many parts of the world, government regulation, persecution and even terrorism make Christians vulnerable in their life and witness.

This webinar follows the Week of Prayer For Christian Unity, which is an ecumenical observance in the Christian calendar that is celebrated internationally.

Join us for this important webinar to explore how to take the Lambeth Call forward in your setting and get involved in the work of ecumenism which is both local and global.
