The Lambeth Conference 2022 report ‘God’s Church for God’s World’ is a compilation of Reports, Addresses and Calls from the Lambeth Conference.
The report charts each step of the conference journey, in three phases:
- The pre-conference ‘listening together’ phase (an online discussion series for bishops and spouses).
- The ‘walking together’ phase (the in-person event in Canterbury).
- The ‘witnessing together’ phase, focused implementing the Lambeth Calls.
- Edited by Canon Stephen Spencer at the Anglican Communion Office, it features contributions from members of the conference planning teams, guests and speakers.
Transcripts of all the major speeches and sermons given during the event are featured, including three Keynote Addresses given by The Archbishop of Canterbury.
The final wording of the Lambeth Calls is also listed, which incorporate bishops’ feedback on the Calls made during the conference.
“God’s Church for God’s World” has been published by SCM Press.
An electronic copy has been emailed to every bishop that attended the conference.
