Bishops in Conversation: Leading, Listening and Learning Together

“Bishops in conversation” is a series of digital events from the Anglican Communion Office, offering online meeting opportunities for bishops on topics of relevance for our time.

The series will provide a space for bishops to lead, listen, and learn together by exploring current affairs, sharing theological insights, discussing church life and ministry issues, studying the Bible, and praying for each other. Participation will enable bishops to support each other in their ministry and establish cross-provincial connections. These events, exclusively for Anglican bishops, will be conducted as online Zoom meetings. Interpretation will be provided where possible, based on demand.

Thinking courageously about science and faith in three great issues of our time

This 3 part series called ‘Thinking courageously about science and faith’ will run from July to September to explore the theme of science and technology and their significant contributions to our lives and the world.

Across the Anglican Communion, millions of Christians are employed in science. Moreover, many bishops, in their roles as church and community leaders, are collaborating with the scientific community to address global issues.

Being informed by science, collaborating with the scientific community, and bringing the ethical voice of faith to scientific debates will play a crucial role in the Church's mission in a world where science plays such a key role.
