The conference organisers are raising money so that bursaries can be offered to those most in need of funds to support the cost of attendance and travel. The aim is to ensure that no bishop or spouse is unable to attend because of a lack of funds.

All delegates to the Lambeth Conference 2022 are encouraged to consider what they can contribute towards the conference fee from funds raised locally. Before they consider applying for a bursary, bishops should also approach their provincial secretary who may be aware of funds which are available to support attendance.

Details of how to apply for a bursary are included with the invitation letter. Bursary applications will be considered by the Anglican Communion Secretary General, Dr Josiah Idowu-Fearon.
