
While the main decision-making group for the Spouses' Conference is the Spouses' Planning Group, its members come from around the world and only have chance to meet twice before the big event. To keep things moving, some necessary work on the conference programme is being done by a local group appointed by Jane Williams - The Spouses Implementation Group.

The group met three times in May and June 2007 at Lambeth Palace to establish and further work done by the Planning Group in November 2006. They discussed the conference's daily schedule, possible speakers and helpers, practicalities and infrastructure.
Several of the members will be using their skills and experience as contributors at the Spouses' Conference.
