Resolution 49
The Conference urges upon members of the Church practical recognition of the moral responsibility involved in their investments. This moral responsibility extends to:
- the character and general social effect of any business or enterprise in which their money is invested;
- the treatment of the persons employed in that business or enterprise;
- the due observance of the requirements of the law relating thereto;
- the payment of a just wage to those who are employed therein.
