Planning - St Augustine's Seminar

The Saint Augustine’s Seminar contributed to part of the planning process for the Lambeth Conference. It is essentially a large meeting or workshop, financed by a fund of the St Augustine’s Foundation.

The seminar is directed by the Lambeth Conference Design Group and as such its role varies from decade to decade. Its work feeds back into the Design Group’s meetings and guides its members as they make detailed plans for the conference.

For the forthcoming Lambeth Conference, the seminar will be made up of two meetings. One of these took place in November 2006 and the second will take place in September 2007.

The seminar brings together practitioners, theologians and academics with diverse expertise and experience who are able to identify content for the Lambeth Conference and the resources needed to produce that content.
