I am all alone in the office today.

Sue is working in Hong Kong this week and then in Boston next week. David has meetings with various people involved in the conferences in Canterbury today.

The work towards the next stage of registration is ongoing - not as quick as we'd like but progress is being made.

We're also now putting together details for the next sessions of the Design Group and Spouses' Planning Group, which both meet in November. We'll need to end those meetings with most of the detail of both conference programmes tied up, so it's important they're well organised. Not much pressure, then!

....and conference registrations continue to come in. With almost a year to go, about half of the existing bishops have already registered. Not bad going, when you consider the dififculties of getting communications of any kind around the globe!
