Lambeth Conference 2008 Blog

Blog entries have been a bit few and far between as I've been out of the office unwell for what seems like ages. Hope you haven't all been too desperate for news!

August is usually a quiet month in English workplaces. Lots of people from our office are on holiday. Sue, David and I are still pretty busy keeping an eye on all the conference registrations and other business but it's nice to get on with it all when the sun's shining and the office is peaceful!

Since I last wrote, there has been a meeting of the Lambeth Conference and Spouses' Conference bible study team. They are responsible for planning the material to be considered by the small bible study groups, which will meet every day of the conference.

The material will be based on the 'I am' statements in John's gospel. Having sat in on one of the team's meetings, I am sure the small group discussions will be engaging and helpful. Maybe even challenging....

There have also been some important meetings to finalise the finer details of the Lambeth Conference programme. Watch this space for more information soon!
