It's very quiet in the office this week, except for the sound of the incessant pouring rain outside! Lots of colleagues are either overseas working or on holiday.
I've been spending a lot of time looking back over resolutions made at the Lambeth Conferences in 1998 and 1988. At the moment, you can only look at these in long list form. So we're trying to produce a 'reader-friendly' record.
It will be useful to see 'at a glance' how much continuity there has been to bishops' concerns and opinions in recent decades, and to be able to track what 'progress' has been made as a result of resolutions passed in not too distant history. I tend to get rather confused by it all, though, so I really don't know what level of success I'll have!
Conference registration is ongoing, of course, and we're beginning to think about the Spouses' Conference registration as well. All that, along with a trip to Canterbury on Tuesday, is keeping me active - despite the weather......
