Lambeth Conference 2008 Blog

We're having lots of fun with all the Lambeth Conference registrations - keep them coming in! (Via the online system if possible!)

Otherwise, Sue is away on her holidays at the moment, as are many others in the Anglican Communion Office, where the Lambeth Conference office is based. But things are still fairly busy for an August in England.

David has been busy sorting out arrangements for various Lambeth Conference publications (music books, etc), the Conference shop and the translation team. He goes off on his holidays at the end of the week.

Plans for the Hospitality Initiative are also moving on. Of the bishops and spouses from outside the UK who have registered so far, at least 80 per cent want to come and spend some time in an English, Scottish or Welsh diocese before the conference begins, which is great! We are beginning to confirm who will visit where. I have a feeling life is going to get fuller from here on in as we move towards 2008. Exciting times!
