Lambeth Conference 2008 Blog

Online registration for the Lambeth Conference will go 'live' this month, so we're working hard to get the new web site complete and the online registration forms written. These things always take longer than you'd expect but, once done, will make so much difference.

I think 2008 will be the first Lambeth Conference with online registration. Most bishops and spouses will be able to access the internet to fill in the forms, which makes all our lives much easier. How on earth did staff cope with all the faxes and bits of paper last time?! Of course,  we'll have to rely on good old snail mail for many things as well.....

The next series of conference posters and bookmarks will also be out soon. And on Wednesday this week, those of us involved with the Hospitality Initiative will go to Gatwick Airport to discuss with the chaplain ideas about welcoming Lambeth and Spouses Conference arrivals. Excitement mounts!
