Lambeth Conference 2008 Blog

Easter week will be a busy one for us, as we make final preparations for the arrival at the weekend of the Lambeth Conference Design Group. It meets from April 16^th to 20^th, mainly to discuss the programme in detail. Thanks to David’s hard work, international flights have been booked, accommodation at the Anglican Communion Office’s St Andrew’s Guest House is reserved, daily worship has been co-ordinated and – most importantly – meals have been arranged.

Hopefully, everyone will arrive safely. Then it’s up to the group to make the week a productive one!

Other tasks for me include sorting out visas for an imminent trip (sadly not for me) to Congo and the delivery of a gift to photographer Leah Gordon. Leah works for mission agency USPG and has helped enormously with the preparation of photographs for the promotional Lambeth and Spouses Conference posters and bookmarks. Thank you Leah!
