The Design Group meeting this month was intense but productive - sadly I was unable to be there (!) but have heard rumours of work going on until 10pm each evening. As you might expect, a lot of progress was made.
Instead of joining the group in Canterbury, Stephen and I went off to the World Mission Conference, along with most of those from the UK involved in planning the pre-Lambeth Conference hospitality. It was a good time, lots of discussion and questions but equal amounts of generosity and enthusiasm.
Now I'm busy preparing for the Spouses' Planning Group, which starts on Thursday evening. It will be very good to see the group again. Their last meeting, a year ago, took place just after I had started this job and so it seems a very long time ago.
I wonder what kind of state I'll be in a year from now!
