I have just returned from a week's holiday in sunny Cornwall. Now sitting in rainy London, with the Lambeth Conference countdown clock ticking away, it feels like a rather sudden return to reality!
Sue is also just back from work in Hong Kong and Boston, USA.
It has been a productive week so far, with sucessful communications and conference programme meetings.
We still await the next phase of registration. I counted yesterday and realised that, in all, 42 different translations of registration documents are needed before this is ready. We have now received 27 of them, so it is all progressing!
David has meetings in Canterbury tomorrow, and Sue and I will be doing quite a bit more work on the Spouses' Conference in the next couple of weeks. Pre-conference publications are also being discussed in some detail, as we need to decide by the end of the year exactly what needs printing and distributing in advance.
All good fun!
