God our Father, in whom is all quietness and concord: teach us to overcome all dissensions within your Church
O Lord, who has set before us the great hope that your kingdom shall come on earth and have taught us to pray for its coming:
O God, you wonderfully created and yet more wonderfully restored the dignity of our human nature;
Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: help us so to hear them, to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest them
Almighty God, from whom all thoughts of truth and peace proceed: kindle we pray, in the hearts of all people the true love of peace; and guide with your pure and peaceable wisdom
Almighty God, who has entrusted this earth to humankind, and through your son Jesus Christ has called us to a heavenly citizenship, grant to us, we humbly pray
O God of unchangeable power and eternal light, look favourably on your whole church, that wonderful and sacred mystery; and by the peaceful operation of your providence,
Intimate God, you are able to accept in us what we cannot even acknowledge; you have named in us what we cannot bear to speak of; you hold in your memory what we have tried to forget;...
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
